Jeb Burton starts on the pole for the Camping World Truck Series Race at The Rock!

NASCAR is back at The Rock for it's second annual Camping World Truck Series race sponsored by the North Carolina Education Lottery 200.

Last year, Nelson Piquet Jr. won the pole- to start the race but finished seventh. Kasey Kahne won the inaugural "return" race at Rockingham Speedway.

Kahne was in Texas during the time trials, thus had to start the 2012 race in the rear of the field. He managed to pass traffic for the win. This year, it was decided that qualifying would be scheduled on Sunday- a few hours before the race- giving Cup drivers who travel from Texas  a chance to qualify their own truck.

Jeb Burton won the Keystone 21 Means 21 Pole Award with record breaking speed of 146.909 in  24.505 seconds, this breaks  the record  Piquet Jr. set last year. Burton is driving the same No. 4 truck Kahne drove for Turner Scott Motorsports last year, except he is sponsored by Arrowhead Chevrolet.  This marks the second pole in the NCWTS for the 20 year-old.  Side-note on the young Burton, he is Ward Burton's son, and Jeff Burton's nephew.

Following Burton are his TSM teammates, James Buescher and Kyle Larson. Buescher starts in the top ten for the second time this year. This is Buescher's second start at The Rock.
Larson starts in third  for his first race at The Rock- and this marks his first top five start of the season.

Hendrick Motorsports development driver Chase Elliott starts in fourth position - driving the Aarons Dream Machine/Hendrickcars.com Chevrolet.

Matt Crafton starts in fifth position with IdealDoor/Menards Toyota.

Starting in sixth is Ryan Blaney, driving for Cooper Standard Performance Ford.

Joey Logano, who won here in the K&N Pro Series race once is starting in seventh, driving the No. 19  Carbon Forged Reese Towpower Ford for Brad Keselowski.
